The word Islam means submission to the will of God, followers of Islam are called Muslims. Like Christians and Jews, Muslims are also Monotheistic which means they believe only in one God, who they call “Allah”. Many a times Muslims refers to Islam as their way of life. Islam’s Holy Scripture, The Quran and lesson from the life or Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) teaches the best ways to act in every sphere of life like marriage, family life , diet , dress and social manners.
Five pillars of Islam are Testing, Prayer ,Charity, Fasting and Pilgrimage. Three main beliefs of Islam are Oneness of God, Prophethood and life after death.
